It's Always Worked Before . . . .
It's nice to hear that UK won't consider changing the speaking rules for the Board of Trustees.

This is one more example of how unimportant are the staff, students, and faculty to the administration -- the administration really doesn't want to hear from us at all.
However, this story reveals a related, and perhaps bigger, problem at UK. That is that the administration has many policies which, even though they have been in place for decades, are obviously bad. Further, these bad policies/procedures beget more bad decisions. The ultimate result is an administrative structure that is self-isolated from the very system which it attempts to manage.
This article thus is another demonstration of how deeply flawed is the management model in use at UK.
